May 6, 2009 Special Dispatch No.2343 Jihadi Groups in Pakistan Release Document Justifying Martyrdom Attacks: "Martyrdom Attacks [Are an Act of] Worship and Those Killed Doing It Are Martyrs" The "Muslim Word Data Processing Pakistan" published, on March 13, 2009, a statement by Pakistani jihadist groups titled "Clear Reasons Regarding Martyrdom Attacks," offering justifications from Islamic history and Shari'a on the religious legitimacy of martyrdom attacks. The document was written in Arabic by Abu Amru Abdul Hakeem Hasan, and was translated into Urdu by Abu Abdullah Abdur Rahman Al-Salafi.
