EXCLUSIVE: Brazilian Radicalized By American ISIS Fighter Killed In Drone Strike Says He'll Avenge His Death, Immigrate To The Islamic State

A Brazilian ISIS supporter calling himself Ismail Abdul Jabbar Al-Brazili, who is active on various social media platforms, recently launched a WordPress Blog, mainly to eulogize his friend and mentor, the American ISIS fighter Abu Khalid Al-Amriki. Al-Amriki was allegedly killed in a drone strike in September 2015.

 

Al-Qaeda Leader Al-Zawahiri Continues To Refute Arguments On The Legitimacy Of ISIS

On October 5, 2015, Al-Sahab, the media arm of Al-Qaeda, published part four of its "Islamic Spring" series, in which Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri continued to reject the Islamic State Caliphate that was declared by Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi in 2014. In the audio tape, which was published on Al-Qaeda-affiliated online forum Al-Fida', Al-Zawahiri presented comprehensive and detailed refutations of a number of arguments regarding ISIS's legitimacy.

 

Al-Qaeda Leader Al-Zawahiri Says Current Circumstances Not Suitable For Establishment Of Caliphate

On October 6, 2015, Al-Sahab, the media arm of Al-Qaeda, published part five of its "Islamic Spring" series, in which Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri stated that the current circumstances are not suitable to declare the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate and suggested steps which would eventually lead to achieving that goal.

 

ISIS Video: Boy Threatens To Chop Off President Obama's Head If He Does Not Pay The Jizya Poll Tax

An ISIS video posted on the Internet showed a young boy threatening to chop off President Obama's head. The video, which described an ISIS training camp, was posted on the Internet by the media bureau of the organization in Dijlah Province on October 5, 2015.

"A Message To The Dog of Rome Obama"

ISIS Boy: "All praise be to Allah, the Powerful, the Firm, and prayers upon the Prophet Muhammad, who was sent with a sword as a mercy for all of Mankind. This is my message to the dog of the Byzantines, Obama: If you think that your soldiers will enter the land of the Caliphate, defiling it, you must be dreaming. Wake up from your sleep, and pay the jizya poll tax in submission, before the swords of the Caliphate reach you, and chop off your rotten head, Allah willing."

ISIS Steps Up Efforts To Divide Somali Al-Qaeda Affiliate Al-Shabab, Calls On Its Members To Join ISIS's Ranks

In the past day, the Islamic State (ISIS) has published a burst of materials aimed at the fighters of Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen, calling on them to leave their group and join ISIS instead. Over the past 12 months, ISIS has made sporadic attempts to appeal to the mujahideen in Somalia; however, the current campaign signals the most serious effort to date.    

 

ISIS Video: French Fighter Vows To Fight Rival Groups

On October 6, 2015 the Islamic State's (ISIS's) Furat Media Center released a new video featuring a French fighter warning and threatening other rebel groups in Syria. The ISIS fighter, who presents himself as Abu Zubayr Al-Faransi, criticizes other jihadi groups for failing to implement Islamic law and praises ISIS as the only real Sunni group which strives to do so. The video, entirely in French and not subtitled, was released on Sendvid.com and distributed via Twitter. This is the second video in French released by the Furat Media Center, which has thus far focused mostly on targeting Russian speakers.

 

ISIS In Yemen Claims Responsibility For Four Suicide Attacks On Government Building, Gulf Military Officers

On October 6, 2015, the media office of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Aden-Abyan, Yemen, claimed responsibility for four suicide attacks targeting a hotel used as a temporary government headquarters and military sites used by the Saudi-led coalition in the port city of Aden.

 

Islamic State Bans New Syrian Bills

According to the Islamic State (ISIS)-affiliated A'maq news agency, ISIS has banned people living in its territory from using the new Syrian paper currency. The Syrian regime, says the report, recently introduced two new bills of 500 and 1,000 Syrian Liras.

On October 5, 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS) Aleppo province released several pictures showing the stoning of a married man who was convicted of adultery. The man is seen kneeling down while an ISIS man reads his sentence.

 

ISIS Executes Three Christian Assyrian Hostages, Sets Over $10 Million Ransom For Release Of Remaining Hostages

According to various media reports, the Islamic State (ISIS) has executed three Christian Assyrian prisoners and threated to execute several others if its demands for ransom are not met. The execution of the Assyrians appeared in an alleged ISIS video that was aired on the Lebanese OTV channel. ISIS has yet to release the video.

 

ISIS Claims Responsibility For Assassinating A Japanese National In Bangladesh

On October 3, 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for assassinating Kunio Hoshi, a Japanese national, in the town of Kaunia in northern Bangladesh. ISIS said that Hoshi, whom it called the "Japanese infidel," was shot to death following close surveillance. ISIS said that the attack was a continuation of its targeting of members of coalition countries that are fighting it in Syria and Iraq. The attack comes less than a week after ISIS claimed another attack against an Italian national who was killed in the Bangladeshi capital city of Dhaka. 

 

Sally Jones,Widow Of ISIS Fighter Junaid Hussain, Continues Hacking Legacy

British ISIS member Sally Jones, the widow of Junaid Hussain, has shown that she is continuing her late husband's legacy of leaking hacked information. On October 3, 2015, Jones circulated the address of Robert O'Neil, the U.S. Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden. While that incarnation of her Twitter account has since been deleted, she has since launched a new one, with details on O'Neil saved on Pastebin.com. Jones, a Muslim convert, claimed in a July 14 tweet that she was radicalized by the British government. Jones was added to a list of ISIS members under sanctions by the UN, and on September 29, she was also added to the U.S. administration's list of "foreign terrorist fighters."

 

GIMF Announces Its New Channel On 'Telegram'

On October 5, 2015, the Al-Qaeda-affiliated media company, the Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF), announced its new channel on the secure messaging app Telegram.

 

Unknown Egyptian Militant Group, Jama'at Al-Murabitoon, Uses Secure Messaging App 'Telegram'

The unknown Egyptian militant group Jama'at Al-Murabitoon has launched an account on the secure messaging app Telegram, according to an announcement that was posted on the Al-Fida' forum.

 

ISIS In Yemen Conducts A 'Field Media' Workshop

On October 3, 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS) Hadhramout province, Yemen, published a pictorial report on a "field media" workshop that the group held for some of its members.  

 

Al-Shabab Threatens: If British Troops Arrive In Somalia, We Will Welcome Them With Bursts Of Fire

On October 7, 2015, the Al-Shahada news agency, affiliated with the Somalia-based jihad organization Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen, issued statements by the organization's spokesman. The statements, which were also posted on the jihadi form Al-Fida and elsewhere, came in response to an announcement by British PM David Cameron that the UK will send troops to Somalia to help fight Al-Shabab there.
