EXCLUSIVE: Iraqi Source: Real Name Of ISIS Leader's Successor Is 'Abd Al-Rahman Mustafa

Following reports in Western media that ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi has been seriously injured in a U.S, airstrike in western Iraq and that an individual called Abu Alaa Al-Afri, aka Ayman Al-Hajj, has been appointed as his temporary replacement, the website Akhbar Mutajaddida published Al-Afari's photo.

British Islamist Anjem Choudary Calls To Refrain From Voting In U.K. General Elections

In a rally in Regent's Park on April 5, 2015, British Islamists called not to vote in the U.K. general elections on May 7, saying that British PM David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May were "the enemies of Allah." Anjem Choudary, Abu Baraa, and Abu Izzadeen chanted slogans such as: "Democracy, go to Hell!" and said that the elections were "a method to draw you away from Islam."

Australian ISIS Fighter Calls On Australian Muslims To Kill Disbelievers There: 'Now Is The Time To Rise... Now Is The Time To Rush For That Reward That Allah... Has Promised You'

On April 21, 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS), via Al-Hayat media, released a video featuring Abu Khalid Al-Cambodi, an Australian ISIS fighter of Cambodian origin. In it, Al-Cambodi tells the story of his conversion from Buddhism to Islam. He also directs a call to other Buddhists, whom he refers to as "idol worshipers," to convert to Islam as well. Al-Cambodi praises the terrorist attacks occurring in Australia in recent months, and calls on Australian Muslims to join forces with ISIS and kill the disbelievers in their country. "You kill him [for] Allah has promised you a place in Paradise," he says.

It is noteworthy that Al-Cambodi's video has been promoted by jihadis in the last several months. Also, prior to his debut in today's video, Al-Cambodi was featured in a recent issue of the ISIS English-language magazine Dabiq, where he appeared alongside American ISIS fighter Abu Khalid Al-Amriki. Al-Amriki is seen in the current video as well.

 

Female Australian ISIS Member Tweets Australia Terror Plot For Anzac Day

On April 20, 2015, a female Australian Islamic State (ISIS) member using the Twitter alias Umm Abdullatif urged ISIS supporters in Australia to carry on with plans for an attack on Australian soil set for Saturday, April 25. The attack is aimed to coincide with Anzac Day, which commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations; this year, it is marking the 100th anniversary of the battle at Gallipoli.

Her comments came following the recent arrest in Melbourne of five men suspected of plotting the attack.

Umm Abdullatif is the widow of Australian fighter Mahmoud Abdullatif, and, according to a Syrian opposition source, she is a member of the Al-Khansaa brigade in Al-Raqqa, Syria.

 

Jihadi Twitter Account Confirms Killings Of Al-Qaeda's Top Pakistani Official, Ustad Ahmad Farooq, And Other Militants

A jihadi Twitter account has confirmed the killing of Ustad Ahmad Farooq, a top Pakistani Al-Qaeda official who had issued a series of statements in Urdu in recent years. It also confirmed the recent killing of several other jihadi commanders.

The jihadi Twitter account is a new account run by Usama Mahmood, spokesman for Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). In a tweet dated April 12, Usama Mahmood confirmed that Ustad Farooq was killed on January 15 in a U.S. drone strike. Media reports had suggested that Ustad Farooq might be dead, but until now his killing was not confirmed by jihadi sources. Ustad Farooq always appeared in videos with his face covered.

 

Following April 18 Jalalabad Attack, Pro-ISIS Jihadi Twitter Account Tweets Image Of Suicide Bomber, Map Of World Under ISIS Control; Disparages Afghan Taliban, Al-Qaeda

Soon after the April 18 suicide bombing outside a bank in the Afghan city of Jalalabad that killed over 30 people, a jihadi Twitter account claimed that the attack was carried out by an Afghan national belonging to the Islamic State (ISIS).

On his Twitter profile, the jihadi user identifies himself as Abu Anas Mujahid and says that he joined the Taliban in 1994, two years before it took power in Kabul. According to the profile, Abu Anas Mujahid, likely not a real name, left the Taliban in 2008 and joined Al-Qaeda. His current location is identified as Iraq and his allegiance to ISIS is noted. As of April 19, he is followed by 997, follows 82, and has tweeted and retweeted 362 times.

 

Islamic State Releases Photos Of Martyrs From Its 'West Africa Province'

On April 22, 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS) released a collection of photos featuring men killed in ISIS's newly established "West Africa wilaya [province]." The province was formed after the Nigerian jihad group Boko Haram joined ISIS last month.

The photos show seven men, including one identified as from Cameroon, and another, a physician, identified as Abu Ayyoub Al-Fulati (i.e. belonging to the Falata tribes). Several of the men worked for the "media office" of the West Africa province, ISIS noted. 

 

Caucasus Emirate Announces Death Of Leader Ali Abu Muhammad

In a April 20, 2015, communique, the Caucasus Emirate (CE) announced the death of its leader Aliaskhab Kebekov, aka Ali Abu Muhammad Al-Dagestani, who had replaced Dokka Umarov after the latter's death in March 2014. According to the communiqu├®, Ali Abu Muhammad was killed in a battle with Russian security forces in the town of Buynaksk.


 

In New Video, Pakistani Taliban Claim Successful 'Ballistic' Missile Test

On April 21, the Pakistani jihadi group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) released a video showing Taliban fighters preparing and test firing a missile. The video, released by the TTP, declared in Urdu (see images below): "The successful test of ballistic missile Umar 1 by the Taliban Engineering Commission." It was produced by Umar Media, the broadcasting arm of the TTP.

Following the Saudi-led air strikes on Yemen, Pakistani religious groups and jihadi organizations such as Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), which is led by Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, are depicting the war as necessary for the defense of Saudi Arabia and for the Haramain Sharifain, i.e. the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. A number of Islamic leaders have joined Hafiz Muhammad Saeed in this.

 

Report: In Letter To Indian Police, Press Club In Chennai City, ISIS Threatens To Shoot Hindu Activists, Repeat 1998 Bombings

According to an Indian newspaper report, the police chief of the southern Indian city of Chennai and the Chennai Press Club have received a letter allegedly sent by the Islamic State (ISIS) threatening to shoot at least 10 Hindu activists.
