Below are excerpts from two Urdu media articles, which allege a Jewish conspiracy behind the war in Afghanistan and accuse the Jews of controlling the international media.
The first article, titled "The Jews' Toy [America]," was published in Mahnama Shariat, an Urdu-language monthly magazine published by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the Taliban's shadow government). The magazine is published somewhere in Pakistan, where the dominant Urdu-language readership is based. The author, Abdur Rahman, alleges that the Jews are using America to further their interests.
The second article, titled "Jewish News And Gaudy Islam," was published by Bang-e-Sahar, an Urdu-language Pakistani daily mainly in circulation in Gilgit Baltistan region. Najeem Shah, the author of the article, accuses the Jews of controlling the international media.
"The Jewish Conspiracy Cannot Be Ignored In The Afghan War… The Present Progeny Of The Jews, Who Were Banished From Madina Some 14 And A Quarter Centuries Ago, Designed A Plan Of Vengeance [Against Afghanistan]"
The following are excerpts from Rahman's article:[1]
"[Pakistani's national poet] Allama Iqbal has written somewhere: 'When power starts trusting itself by putting aside wisdom and intellect, then there begins its fall.' Something like that is happening today with the U.S. When the U.S. got expertise in modern technology, then there entered the craze into its mind of being the superpower and the custodian of the world. Therefore, extremely influential Jews in the U.S. made it believe that it is the only feudal lord having suzerainty over the whole world, and all its inhabitants are its subject. The Zionists, whom the world ignored for a long time, thinking them to be useless, laid such a secret net by gradually achieving power in that country that every inch of this earth is now clamped in their net. It is not a tragedy to lay down the trap around the world, but the tragedy is that the more one tries to come out of it the more one gets trapped into it. [Be it] administrative, economic, social, scientific, educational, governmental [areas], it has spread its influence on an extensive basis in all fields.
"And all this has happened on the might of power, while in today's world only power is the real 'truth.' The more one is powerful the more one has rights. The rest [of the world] would be indebted to pay the debt of their [Jews'] rights… They [Jews] would be the only master; the rest would be their 24-hour slaves providing services to them. They will be real. The rest would be all fake; they will not have any status; they are animals. They are the all-wise, while the rest of the people are the fools to an extreme degree, and more stupid than a donkey.
"The Jewish conspiracy cannot be ignored in the Afghan war… The present progeny of the Jews, who were banished from Madina some 14.25 centuries ago, designed a plan of vengeance [against Afghanistan] and worked accordingly upon it. Mischief-creators and riot-monger Zionists are drowning the world's vessel by putting the dirty eggs of the new culture on America's head. They want to pave the way for the kingdom of the one-eyed Dajjal [anti-Christ] who, in the view of the Jews, would declare his false suzerainty on the world by sitting in the Solomon Temple in place of the Al-Aqsa mosque. And for that [purpose] Muslims are to be extinct from the world; or at least it is necessary for the whole world to become its [Jewish] subject and obedient. There is no way out except this.
"Jews have initiated war at various places to annihilate their enemy nations from the world. There is hardly any country where the flames of civil war are not rising. They have decided this: 1) 'It is inevitable for us to keep the bonfire of war ablaze on disputed issues which do not get results on regional levels. For this it is needed that the enemy should be weakened on the economic field. Economic war should be fought against them. It would be beneficial to consolidate our advantage thus. But it all depends on our international workers who are hundreds of thousands, who keep an eye over the world. [On the pretext of] our international rights… we would deny the national rights and then would rule the nations on the basis of our state laws, the way civil law of this country decides the disputes.'
"2) 'After that, the people's representatives whom we would elect from among the people would not be skilled in governance. They would easily become our mortgage and would do our work like puppets… we would rule the world through our (free) counselors. These would be the counselors who would be trained from very childhood.'
"This is the Jewish plan for which the U.S.'s shoulders were used and the consciences of the Karzai group, including all other assets, were looted on the issue of [the 9/11 attack on] World Trade Center, which is still in dispute [as to who carried out the attack]."

"The following story is related to the United States itself. The U.S. is an infidel country. Had it not been a tyrant! In every respect the loss of life and property in the Afghan war from the two sides is unable to be compensated, but psychologically as a result it is America whose loss is much more….
"Withdrawal from Afghanistan has become a nightmare for the U.S. But it is interesting to note that there is no rationalization coming out from anywhere to this nightmare. Eight billion dollars are needed to get the clearance of more than 70,000 vehicles and 40,000 containers, while there is a 'Taliban tax' under which it has to pay 30 million dollars which is another headache. On the other hand, the U.S. wants to come out of the Afghan war's swamp, and this withdrawal without being disgraced is such a bone which has stuck in the throat of the Statue of Liberty. To get it out, a crane with a long beak should be called upon. But this crane is not very simple, to the extent of stupidity and unawareness of the result.
"On the aims of the Taliban embassy in Qatar and the U.S. and Taliban talks, the British General Nick Carter had said: 'The West should have held talks with the Taliban a decade ago when the Taliban government was dismissed.' Indeed, it is so. But the U.S. has taken the nails of wisdom only after the birds have picked up the farms. What to say of the Taliban, the whole Muslim nation doesn't fear death.
"The Taliban are the lions of Allah who don't get foxed on the apparent glare and glitters of the infidels because the bashful statement by Hazrat Khalid bin Walid [great Muslim warrior of early Islam] is like a beacon for their life: 'None could live more than one's life and none could die before one's death. Take my message to the cowards of the world that if death could come in the battlefield of jihad, then Khalid would not have died in the bed.' Although only sometimes before the American terrorism, the jihadis living in the Afghan hills were only a little tired in getting rid of the Russians from their country, but listening to the jackals' howls [i.e. the U.S. challenge] they came once again in the battlefield challenging:

"'Protocols' is a popular document which was written a century ago by a group of intelligent Jewish personalities selected from the world over. Seemingly this is a normal book, but it is extraordinary in many ways. The plan for Greater Israel that has been enumerated in this book shows that Zionism will take over the world very soon, and Jews will have complete control over all walks of life, including economy, politics, and journalism. There are forty documents in total with the name of 'Protocols,' and it has been translated into many languages of the world, including Urdu. Misbahul Islam Farouqi translated the Protocols as 'Jewish Conspiracy' into English for the first time in Pakistan, while Mohammad Yahya Khan was lucky to translate the book for the first time in Urdu entitled 'Yahoodi Protocols.'
"Many high-level Jewish historians have not only refuted these Zionist Protocols, but Jews have also been destroying the copies of this book after purchasing it. According to the Jewish historians, 'Protocols' is a completely fabricated story which has been written with the intention to hold Jews responsible for many evils, but the contemporary situation confirms the things which were written a century ago.
"Poet of the East Dr. Allama Iqbal had long ago said that the veins and life of English [people] are in the clutches of Jews. After studying this book, you would come to know the real reason behind the presence of modern poverty, unemployment, selfishness, materialism, restlessness, war and conflict, crime, and obscenity in the world. It includes the plan for controlling media and making public opinion [in one's favor] through brainwashing in chapter 12 of the 'Protocols.' In fact, the Jews have been successful in this to a greater extent. Regarding the control on media, the Protocols says: 'Even news of no importance should not reach the people without our approval. To ensure this, it is mandatory for us, the Jews, that we establish news agencies with the basic aim to gather news from every nook and corner of the world. In this condition we can get assurance that no news could be published without our approval.'
"The pure Zionist media is considered the international media [today], and it is under the influence of billionaire Jewish businessmen. The impact of this media is so deep that we prefer them over our national media despite their negative propaganda. The role of media is not hidden from any sensible person in this developed era, but the same media is being used as an effective weapon to brainwash people. Even social media is used as an effective weapon to play with the Muslim sentiments.
"The problem is that the Islamic media is not that powerful to counter the propaganda against them. Perturbed with this troubling situation, any Muslim who has concern with religion would ask from the Ulema [clerics] to come on the TV and inform the people of the reality, along with fighting every fitna [mischief] against Islam. But it is deplorable that the custodian Ulema of Islam are still lost in their thoughts. A group of Ulema thinks that drawing pictures and getting photographed both are haram [strongly prohibited in Islam]; since picture is involved in TV, so making or watching TV programs are illegal. There is a category which does not consider drawing or getting photographed as illegal, but keeps itself a little bit away from anti-Islam and sensitive and serious issues, while the third category of Ulema thinks that on rare and involuntary occasions like [controversies surrounding Pakistan's anti-women] Hudood Ordinance, blasphemy law, and anti-Islam Western propaganda, one could come on TV and state one's stand for clarity and do away with the propaganda. Among such Ulema, some do come on TV but most of them keep distance from it, and taking advantage of this some self-proclaimed Ulema and religious scholars are busy in promoting their type of 'gaudy Islam' on TV."
"In His Famous Book Zarb-e-Kaleem, The Poet Of The East Allama Iqbal Had Also Praised Ghazi Alimuddin, Who Killed Rajpal For Blasphemy In Lahore, And Ghazi Abdul Qayyum, Who Killed Nathu Ram In Karachi [Both Victims Being Hindus]"
"Many NGOs and personalities who are active against the Hudood Ordinance and blasphemy law [of Pakistan which permits the death penalty], they also use the suggestions of these ignorant and self-proclaimed Ulema in their favor on some sensitive issues regarding these laws. Even today [issues of] ethics, social relations, enlightenment, liberalism, and thoughts are being seriously hampered by these self-proclaimed religious scholars and ignorant modern moulvis [clerics]… According to prominent senior [right-wing Islamist] columnist Orya Maqbool Jan, innocent and ignorant Ulema are invited on TV program… and [good] moulvis get defamed….
"In a religious program, a drama was hatched of embracing Islam on a popular TV channel. The host of the program was converting a non-Muslim woman on a live telephone call. The height was this that he was himself ignorant of the Kalima [the words that proclaim one's faith in Islam], which is recited at the time of converting into Islam, and the famous Kalima … which he himself was not able to recite properly and the translation that was made was classic in its own right, because none could do such a translation and none could have heard it earlier also and the woman he was converting into Islam was reciting Kalima better than him. In a similar kind of live TV show, a Hindu youth was shown embracing Islam. As soon as the Hindu youth embraced Islam on the hands of an imam, there were all celebrations and the way congratulatory messages began pouring in it gave the impression that no other religion enjoyed the status of Islam in Pakistan. Those NGOs and people take advantage of such situations, who make hue and cry in the name of minority's rights and are active against Hudood Ordinance and blasphemy laws. The punishment of blasphemy is death penalty… but some people intentionally make undue use of the blasphemy law to devalue its importance.…
"In their statements, anti-Islam NGOs and personalities call the blasphemy law to be against the spirit of [the idea of Pakistan as propounded by] Qaed-e-Azam [Greater Leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah]. The meaning of 'secularism,' that these so-called progressive and enlightened people, has nothing to do with Qaed-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Today these mischievous people don't hesitate in calling the blasphemy law as fitna, while Qaed-e-Azam had travelled to Lahore from Bombay, despite all his engagements, to plead for Ghazi Alimuddin in the case of killing Rajpal, who had committed blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad. Qaed-e-Azam had maintained this principle of not taking any wrong case, but he agreed to take up the case of Ghazi Alimuddin. In his famous book Zarb-e-Kaleem, the Poet of the East Allama Iqbal had also praised Ghazi Alimuddin, who killed Rajpal for blasphemy in Lahore, and Ghazi Abdul Qayyum, who killed Nathu Ram in Karachi [both victims being Hindus]….
