Former Iranian Provincial Governor Tells Obama: If You Attack Syria, Your Daughter Sasha Will Be Raped, Relatives Of U.S. Officials Will Be Kidnapped And Dismembered; U.S. Troops Training In Jordan To Sexually Assault Syrian Women

On August 28, 2013, Senior Iranian analyst Alireza Forghani, who is affiliated with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and was province governor of Iran's Kish province till 2011, published a post on his blog threatening President Obama (which he subsequently censored, apparently). In it, Forghani stated that, if Obama attacked Syria, relatives of high-ranking American officials and diplomatic and military staff would be kidnapped and dismembered. He also threatened to publish instructions on carrying out terror attacks against American interests worldwide. Forghani urged Obama to attack Syria so the world could be rid of him.

Though Forghani opened his post by stating that it must not be published in the Iranian media, Asr-e Iran, a prominent and reliable moderate-conservative Iranian website, cited it in full on September 7, 2013. The website's version included a paragraph that was subsequently dropped from the blog, where Forghani warned Obama that his daughter Sasha would be raped if he attacked Syria. The post on Forghani's blog, which appears in both Persian in English, is accompanied by the photo below, showing President Obama with his wife and two daughters.
