"The Funds Used By... Al-Shater Were Donated Or Collected... For Da'wa"
Abd Al-Sattr Al-Meligui: "I am convinced that the funds used by my dear brother Khayrat Al-Shater were donated or collected as dues from the Muslim brothers for da'wa. Both the sharia and the law prohibit using these funds for private investments."

Then, [Al-Shater] gave them all the documents in one go."
Interviewer: "On purpose or due to neglect?"
Abd Al-Sattr Al-Meligui: "This was neglect and failure, attesting to the character of this person."[...]

Abd Al-Sattr Al-Meligui: "He met [U.S. Senator John] McCain to receive orders from him."
Interviewer: "But the General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood met McCain before Al-Shater…"
Abd Al-Sattr Al-Meligui: "The General Guide also receives orders. He is much weaker than Al-Shater." [...]
