As the violence in Syria continued to escalate and with armed resistance to Bashar Assad's forces on the rise, a dispute broke out between online jihadis and senior cleric Abu Basir Al-Tartousi, a Syrian expat based in London.
The dispute began when Tartousi published a post on his Facebook page saying that there was no need for mujahideen to travel to Syria to aid the Syrian people in their fight against the Assad regime, as Syria did not lack its own "valiants." ...
