New AQAP Video, Uploaded to YouTube before Its Official Release, Celebrates Victories over Yemeni Army in South Yemen

Excerpts from a new video by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), produced by the organization's media company Al-Malahim, have surfaced on YouTube. This is the first time an official media release of an Al-Qaeda affiliate has appeared on YouTube before being distributed by Al-Qaeda's official media outlet, Al-Fajr. Apparently, copies of the film were distributed on the ground in Yemen, and uploaded to YouTube by AQAP supporters there. The length of the full film is unknown, but it is apparently over 30-minutes-long. The film is dated Dhu Al-Qa'da 1432, which corresponds to October 2011. ...
