On January 16, 2011, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released the fourth issue of its English-language magazine, Inspire. In the latest issue, AQAP redoubled its efforts in inciting Muslims living in the West to become jihadists and carry out attacks against civilians in the countries of their residence. The issue features a lead article by Sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki, in which he encourages jihadists living in the West to finance their activities through theft, embezzlement and the seizure of non-Muslims' property, especially in the U.S. An article in Inspire's Open Source Jihad series features a guide to bombing buildings and using an AK-47 rifle. A Q&A session with Sheikh 'Adil Al-Abbab justifies the killing of non-Muslim U.S. and European civilians. Other articles celebrate Taimour Al-'Abdaly, the Swedish citizen who attempted to carry out a suicide attack in Stockholm, and Roshonara Choudhary, a British citizen who stabbed a British MP.
