Following are excerpts from statements by Iraqi politician in exile Mish'an Jabouri, owner of the Syria-based Arrai TV, discussing anti-Shi'ite incitement on a Gulf television channel. In 2009, Jabouri acknowledged financing terror attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq.[1] After the U.S. House of Representatives' passage of H.R. 2278, on December 9, 2009, directing the President to send to Congress a report on anti-American incitement to violence in the Middle East, Jabouri appeared on the channel to discuss its policy (the interview includes false statements about MEMRI. "A Certain Cleric" Talks of "Our Shi'ite Brothers in a Way That I Must Denounce"
Mish'an Jabouri: "There is a CD, or a recording, showing a certain cleric talking about our Shi'ite brothers in a way that I must denounce. I believe that many millions of Sunnis denounce such talk, and despite the person who utters it, a person who, in their view, does not represent them. Unfortunately, this was aired on a channel called Al-Khalijiya ["Gulf TV"].
"As everybody knows, both Sunnis and Shi'ites live in the Gulf. I do not understand how the governments in the Gulf allowed such an abomination to be aired on TV, by a channel that calls itself "Gulf TV." How could the Arab governments, the media, the authorities in charge of moral values, and the manager of the channel, and satellite owners allow such a thing to be aired?! Let us watch together what that lunatic said, and then we will comment on it."
Footage of Egyptian cleric Muhammad Al-Zoghbi: "Oh Allah, grant victory to Islam and the Muslims. Oh Allah, destroy Your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, destroy the accursed Jews. Oh Allah, take the Al-Aqsa Mosque back from the accursed Jews, and allow us to pray in it before we die. Oh Allah, grant us martyrdom on the threshold of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Oh Allah, grant victory to our brothers, the Sunnis in Palestine. Oh Allah, grant them victory, direct their bullets, feed the hungry among them, quench their thirst, and cover the naked among them with Your mercy.
"Oh Allah, alleviate the agony of the oppressed Sunni Muslims in Gaza and Palestine. Oh Allah, destroy Your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, destroy the Rafidites [the Shi'ites], destroy the Rafidites. Oh Allah, freeze the blood in their veins, and in the veins of their imams and scholars. Oh Allah, strike them with disasters and plagues. Oh Allah, freeze the blood in their bellies and their backs.

Mish'an Jabouri: "That liar who is crying... Of course, he is only putting on a filthy show. You may have noticed that his curses against the Jews, who plundered Palestine, did not equal one-tenth of his curses against our Shi'ite brothers.
"I'd swear that this man was sent by freemasonry or the Zionist lobby – or that he is working for Israel."
"Why Doesn't He Pray For Such Things To Afflict the Ruler Of Egypt[?]"
"He must be prevented from appearing on TV. This man should be despised. Whoever bumps into him in the street should pelt him with shoes, because he incites to civil strife. This is a bad man who accuses half of the Muslim nation of heresy. He wants to prevent them from making a pilgrimage to Mecca and the prophet's tomb. He prays that the blood in their bellies be frozen, and that they be inflicted with cancer. He did not pray for such things to afflict the Jews.
"Why doesn't he pray for such things to afflict the ruler of Egypt, who brought his country and people to ruin, causing many catastrophes, and turning Egypt into a passageway for the raiding of Arab and Muslim countries, and conspiring against them?!" [...]
