Columnist in Syrian Gov't Daily: The Plan Set Out in 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion' Is Being Implemented Today

Syria | Special Dispatch No. 2703

In the Syrian government daily Al-Thawra, columnist Dr. Alexander Luqa, formerly on the staff of the Syrian president's office, said that the plan for world domination set out in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is being implemented today.

Following are excerpts from the article:[1]

The Zionist Movement "Has Not Desisted for Even One Day From Its Efforts to Get Its Hands On [the World's] Gold"

"The two [most important] forces in the world are gold and the press. The Zionist movement has striven in the past and is still striving in the present to take control of them, by all means, to use them for its own ends.

"In early 1869, more specifically on January 1, 1869, leaders of the [Zionist] movement held a meeting in Prague near the grave of their saint Shimon ben Yehuda, known as the Great and Holy Teacher. [At this meeting,] Rabbi Rishon, one of the heads of the global Zionist movement, said: 'For centuries our wise men have fought valiantly against the Cross. [Now] our people is gradually advancing towards the summit, and its power is growing.'

"[Rabbi Rishon] explained the Zionist movement's place in this plan, which aims at world domination, saying: 'Today we have become the gods of the age – the god that [Biblical] Aaron created for us in the desert. We will become the sole owners of the golden calf that we worshiped [then], and which is now regarded as god of the entire world. We must be the sole owners of [all] the gold in the world. That way, the real [source of] power will be in our hands. [And] if gold is one of the [main] powers in the world, the other is the press, so we must act to take control of that [as well].'[2]

"We, as an Arab nation fighting its Zionist enemies, know that the Zionist ideology has not desisted for even one day from its efforts to get its hands on [the world's] gold. To this end, it is active in the gold-rich regions in the north and the south of the United States, in Russia, and in Africa, where there are virgin lands rich in gold deposits."

The Zionist Movement "Clearly Threatens [to Corrupt] Many Moral Values, Especially Family Values, in Arab and Non-Arab Societies"

"By means of its ideology, which is planted in the minds of its leaders, the Zionist movement has taken over the modern media, [including] the press, television and radio, and through them it manages to control world public opinion... With these effective tools, it clearly threatens [to corrupt] many moral values, especially family values, in Arab and non-Arab societies, as we can see today. The modern media can also influence governments, by persuasion or coercion, to serve the current goals of the Zionist movement.

"Do you think that Rabbi Rishon's statements need any further clarification today, especially in light of what the Zionist movement has managed to achieve since that day [in Prague] by means of money, in particular in terms of buying out the conscience of those who manage the media in most countries of the world?

"[Today, it is necessary] to reexamine these Zionist recommendations, even if they seem to be no more than theoretical [ideas] appearing in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, because, as shown by the points mentioned above, they are being implemented on the ground more and more.

"[The Protocols] include, for example, the recommendation, 'Take over the world by means of your money and your women.' I believe that since the day [the Protocols] were published, the Zionist movement has been implementing this recommendation to the letter, and that it is still implementing it today and will continue to do so in the future, for an unlimited period of time."

This book, regarded as one of the sources of inspiration for The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, states that once every 100 years, representatives of the Twelve Tribes of Israel meet in Prague's Jewish cemetery to discuss the fortunes of the Jewish people in the last 100 years and the plan for the next 100 years.
