ISI: Jihad Fighters in Iraq Prevailed over The U.S. Army and Impelled It to Withdraw

In a July 19, 2009 communique, the ISI mocks the Iraqi government and attributes the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from Iraqi major cities to the steadfastness of jihad fighters, who "have made the U.S. army taste death and the bitterness of defeat," and forced it to realize that the U.S. military victory in Iraq is now "an unattainable dream." In addition, in the communiqué, posted on the Islamist website Faluja, the ISI once again condemns Sunni resistance organizations that did not join the ISI, for attempting to "harvest the fruits" of the jihad. ...
