On April 26, 2015, the Ninawa province of the Islamic State (ISIS) released pictures showing the stoning to death of two men convicted of adultery.
As with many of ISIS's public executions, this one was also attended by large crowds.
After reading out the sentence at the scene, the pictures depict a group of men throwing large rocks at the convicted.
Several days ago, ISIS stoned two other men in Homs, Syria, who were convicted of homosexuality.[1]
