French ISIS Fighters And Supporters Express Joy Over Paris Attacks And Taunt French Public

ISIS has published a French-language version of its claim of responsibility for the series of deadly attacks in Paris, as well as an audio recording of the statement read out by the French speaking narrator of its daily radio news broadcast in French. The audio recording was accompanied by the French ISIS song "avance." French speaking ISIS fighters also reacted with joy to the news of the attacks in Paris that were claimed by their group.

French-language version of the ISIS claim of responsibility

Following is a selection of their reactions:

A French fighter who claims to be located in Libya, who calls himself Abdou Rahman, (@e39f5383af146e) tweeted: "Today I have cried [tears] of joy. Allah has realized our prayers, I am so happy the lions hit them and avenged our dead, Allah be blessed.  "


Another fighter, Abu Baraa Al-Faransi (@nidstayaraa), who is located in Syria, wrote that the attack "healed the believers' hearts, praise Allah."

An ISIS supporter, possibly a fighter, who calls himself Abou Qais Al-Muhajir (@ibnadam01), wrote:
"May Allah accept our heroes at the highest degree of paradise! True lions!! Baqya!"

Subsequently, French speaking ISIS supporters attempted to hijack the hashtag #RechercheParis (Searching in Paris), which was initiated to enable residents of Paris to search for missing family members and friends following the attacks.  

"France is on its knees. Do not search for long, your dead are in hell. #rechercheparis"

The ISIS French-language news account Khilafah Infos (@khilafahinfos) tweeted under the #rechercheparis hashtag: "Do not look for your loved ones... they are in hell!!"

The same account tweeted: "According to latest information, it's still happening in France, in the Bagnolet [suburbs of Paris]. I hope this continues!" Another tweet stated: "You are not ones to talk, you are bombing women and children with your planes, come and fight our lions on the ground."

A women ISIS supporter tweeted: "Only the French would conduct war and assassinate people outside of France and then act stunned when it happens in their home turf. Hypocrites!"

The French ISIS fighter using the alias "Younes the deserter" tweeted several reactions from Raqqa, Syria: "Scenes of joy in the streets of Raqqa" ; "France is harvesting what it has sown." ; "They [the terrorists] have given joy and happiness to the Muslims of the Levant" ; "We love death as you love life."
