Lebanese Journalist Ibrahim Al-Amin: Lebanese Opponents of Hizbullah Are Israeli Collaborators Unless Proven Otherwise

Following are excerpts from an interview with Lebanese journalist Ibrahim Al-Amin, editor-in-chief of the Al-Akhbar newspaper, which aired on Al-Manar TV on August 17, 2012.


Ibrahim Al-Amin: No Lebanese patriot, who wants what is best for his country, can be against the weapons of Hizbullah and the option of resistance. If he is against them, he belongs to the other side. Anyone who demands the disarming of Hizbullah is an Israeli collaborator. Anyone who demands the disarming of Hizbullah is a mercenary collaborator, working for Israeli military intelligence.

They are Israeli collaborators, and it's up to them to prove otherwise. They need to prove to us that they are not Israelis. They need to prove to us that they love their country Lebanon – they must work night and day and undergo oral and written exams, as well as morning blood tests, before and after breakfast. Unless they do all that – they are Israeli collaborators.
