Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah Threatens Oil and Gas Installations in the Region

Following are excerpts from a statement by Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, which aired on Al-Manar TV on July 26, 2011:

Hassan Nasrallah: Today, on the 5th anniversary of the 2006 war, I can say, with full confidence, to all countries, governments, or companies that want to submit bids to Lebanon and begin drilling, that Lebanon is fully capable of protecting these companies and these oil and gas installations. Lebanon is absolutely capable of this. Do you know why? It is not because we have a strong airforce. It is because those who might attack these installations have oils and gas installations of their own.

Applause from the crowd

Whoever harms the future oil and gas installations in Lebanese territorial waters will have their own installations harmed. They should know that Lebanon is capable of this.
