Former Lebanese Minister Wiam Wahhab: Nasrallah Told Me that Syrian President Assad Had Sent Him Anti-Tank Missiles

Following are excerpts from an interview with former Lebanese minister Wiam Wahhab, which aired on ANB TV on May 8, 2011:

Wiam Wahhab: Syria was the first to support the Iraqi resistance. Let's be honest. Syria has suffered a lot as a result of its support of the Iraqi resistance. One of the reasons for what we are witnessing today in Syria is the Syrian support for the Iraqi resistance.

Hassan Nasrallah told me personally about the extent of the support he had received from Syria. He said: "Once, I had run out of Cornet missiles, which were destroying the Israeli tanks. President Assad sent me missiles, marked with the names of the Republican Guard officers." This is the first time I am telling this.
