PA Minister of Religious Endowments Mahmoud Habbash Casts Doubt on Whether Muslims Carried Out 9/11

Following is an excerpt from an interview with PA Minister of Religious Endowments Mahmoud Habbash, which aired on Palestinian Authority TV on September 6, 2010.

Mahmoud Habbash: [...] Personally, I doubt that any Muslim had anything to do with [9/11]. There are many issues...

Interviewer: ...that remain open.

Mahmoud Habbash: Many things were attributed to the Muslims, and it has become an axiom that the Muslims did it. I, personally, have many many questions about this: How? When? Why? And so on. And who? None of these questions have been answered yet. But even if we assume, for the sake of argument, that it was carried out by Muslims – do they represent Islam or the Koran?! In what way is the Koran to blame for the crime committed on 9/11? The Koran is against this crime.

Interviewer: Of course.
