Indoctrination of Children: Animated Film on Hamas TV

The following clip is an animated children's cartoon for Hamas TV, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on March 12, 2010. The English subtitles are in their original form and have not been translated by MEMRI.

Narrator: Gaza was an innocent child, beautiful and bold.

She flies with both her wings, races the birds, soars over the clouds, sleeps between the flowers and herbs.

Soars over the clouds, sleeps between the flowers and herbs.

Suddenly, the day turns into a fearful night and the sky was shrouded with black smoke. The birds called her: "Gaza, run away as fast as you can. The enemy destroyed your home and killed your parents."

Gaza rose up with all its might, rejecting running away or defeat. Gaza rose up with all its might, rejecting running away or defeat.

Carrying the scattered stones of her demolished home, she ran quickly after the murderer to throw stones with her tender hands on the vicious faces of the enemy.

To throw stones with her tender hands on the vicious faces of the enemy. The enemy saw her.

He hated her childhood. He hated her heroism. He aimed the gun, he shot.

The bullet rested, the bullet rested on the chest of Gaza, penetrating her.

To the bosom of a small girl returned it to the eye of that ugly soldier and rooted it out. He retreated shouting. Gaza smiled, giving bye to life with dignity.

Many and many children will follow her example, and every day Gaza will be born anew.
