Retired Jordanian General Musa Al-Hadid: The War on ISIS - Not Our War

#4499 | 04:00
Source: Yarmouk TV (Jordan)

Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Jordanian General [Ret.] Musa Al-Hadid, which aired on Yarmouk TV on September 12, 2014:

Musa Al-Hadid: Gaza has proven that the Israeli security doctrine is fragile and feeble, and that there can be no security and stability for the herds of Zionists. Their "picnic" in Palestine has come to an end, and their journey back to where they came from has begun. Indeed, Gaza has paid its dues and beyond. It has opened the gates of victory to us. Now, it is our turn as Jordanians and Arabs. First, however, we must ask ourselves who prevents us from preparing for Jihad.

[…]

Who prevents the Arab peoples, and especially the Jordanian people, from fulfilling their role in support of their kin in Gaza and all the occupied lands? Who prevents us from unshackling the Al-Aqsa Mosque?

[…]

It is imperative to know that the Arab regimes – and the Jordanian regime is no exception – have done all this, thus preventing and prohibiting the Jihad. It is [the Jordanian regime] that protects the herds of Zionists, through its bilateral surrender agreements with Israel, and first and foremost by the Israel-Jordan peace treaty, as well as by the Oslo Accords, and the Camp David Accords.

[…]

Dear brothers, the Jordanian regime has corrupted this country. It has corrupted this country politically by attaching itself to the U.S. interests, turning itself into an advance post for the new American global coalition. It has accepted the invitation of Obama and his Secretary of State to join the coalition and the war against the Islamic State organization. How does this coalition serve our interest? Why should we voluntarily enter the wasp's nest? This is not our war, so why does the regime hasten to join it?

[…]

Dear brothers, due to its fear of ISIS, this regime hastened to form an alliance with America in order to fight it. By God, America is the leader of corruption, the country of terrorism. If not for America, there would have been no ISIS, and peace would have prevailed in this region.

[…]

Brothers, all of Israel's political, economic, residential, touristic, and military centers are within the range of our capabilities. If there is political will to fight, and the gates of Jihad are opened, Palestine will become a living hell for the Zionists.
