Palestinian-Jordanian Political Analyst Muhammad Al-Tamimi Goes Berserk in Debate on Legacy of Fatah: PA Leaders Are Spies, Traitors, and Pimps

During a Jordanian TV debate on the legacy of Fatah, Palestinian-Jordanian political analyst Muhammad Al-Tamimi lost his temper and said that Fatah was "controlled by a bunch of spies, who killed their father [Arafat]," and that "this treacherous, collaborating leadership" was "directly connected to the Mossad." Tamimi claimed that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is of Iranian origins. "From this pulpit," he bellowed, "I hereby declare the dismissal of this leadership." "The Palestinian Authority and all these organizations will go into the garbage bin of history." Despite repeated efforts to stem the tirade, the TV host was unable to placate Al-Tamimi, and the show drew to a close, with the host thanking his viewers amid shouting from his irascible guest. The show aired on the Jordanian 7 Stars TV channel on August 14, 2016.

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Fatah is currently controlled by a bunch of spies, who compete amongst themselves over a non-existent imaginary authority, the reins of which are held exclusively by the plundering Jewish entity.

[...]

"(Fatah) is controlled by a bunch of spies, who killed their father, in order to inherit him."

Moderator: "You are referring to Yasser Arafat..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Yes. I said this on Al-Jazeera TV, immediately after the assassination of Arafat by these people. Since Mahmoud Abbas took power, he has fought any Fatah member with an honorable past.

[...]

"Palestine is not the property of that leadership. I am now talking on behalf of the entire Palestinian people. The Palestinian people is now listening, and I am talking in its name. By God, if you conducted an online poll, and asked the Palestinians whether I, Muhammad As'ad Bayoudh Al-Tamimi, represent them and speak on their behalf, 90% would say 'Yes.' Therefore, from this pulpit, I hereby declare the dismissal of this leadership, in the name of the Palestinian people. This is a blessed land, and it will not be led by the scum of the earth.

[...]

"I represent the conscience of my people. I know my people better than anyone else. This is a blessed cause, a holy cause. This is not a whorehouse, led by (Azzam) Al-Ahmad, Dahlan, Abu Mazen, or anyone else..."

Moderator: "Enough."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "This is a blessed land. It is the land of the Prophet Muhammad's nocturnal journey. It is the land of Islam, man, the land of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab and Saladin. These people have nothing to do with this cause and this land. They are defying Allah. This guy Al-Ahmad, Allah's curses upon him...What's his name?"

Moderator: "No, no. Don't curse... Brother, don't curse!"

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "That Al-Ahmad... What's his name? Azzam Al-Ahmad. He challenged Allah a week ago, in Jenin. In front of all the cadres of Fatah, he said: 'I am willing to challenge Allah for the sake of Fatah.' He thinks that Fatah is more important than Allah. Allah's curses be upon you! You spy! You enemy of Allah!"

Moderator: "Brother, please..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "The Palestinian people will place you on trial.

[...]

"This is a jihad-fighting people. It's been fighting for over 100 years. The land of Palestine has been soaked with Palestinian blood more than with rain. Not the sons of Mahmoud Abbas... He says that he's from Safad and that he is prepared to relinquish it. He is not from Safad. He is from Iran. He came from Iran and has nothing to do with Palestine.

[...]

"As he lay on his deathbed, my father said to me: 'I entrust you and everybody with this pledge...' He said: 'Do not relinquish this land. If anyone relinquishes the land - slaughter him, curse him, and fight him." This is our land. This is the land of Al-Aqsa. These people don't know anything about moral and physical purity. They have nothing to do with this land."

Moderator: "Okay... Fine..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "One of these days, we will place them on trial. They are traitors. They want to sell our land. They want to sell our homeland."

Moderator: "Okay..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Palestine is ours, like it or not. We shall never accept Israel on a single inch of our land."

Moderator: "Brother, I said okay..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "We will not give up the land of Palestine."

Moderator: "Brother, just listen to me..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Who are these spies and traitors, who serve as pimps, peddling normalization with the Jews?"

[...]

Jordanian Columnist Jihad Al-Rantisi: "Although I have reservations about all the curses..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "I am talking without reservation, before the entire Palestinian people."

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "I have reservations..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "I take full responsibility for every word I've said about this treacherous, collaborating leadership, which is directly connected to the Mossad."

Moderator: "Brother, don't curse. I beg you..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "This is Palestine, man! These traitors are destroying it!"

Moderator: "Remember your blood pressure... I beg you... Please... Don't... Have some water. Go on."

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "Despite my reservations about what Mr. Tamimi said, I'd like to..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Azzam Al-Ahmad challenged the Almighty Lord..."

Moderator: "Enough, brother..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "That son of a bitch! That traitor!"

Moderator: "I beg you, don't stoop to that level."

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "I don't want to be on the defense, because I have many reservations about the Palestinian Authority, but with regard to brother Azzam Al-Ahmad, things were attributed to him that he did not say, and this was used as part of the elections propaganda..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "He said those things in the Jenin District. He said even more than that. He said on Al-Manar TV, the TV station of the Zoroastrians..."

Moderator: "Brother, for Allah's sake, shut up. Just shut up."

[...]

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "If the PA continues to exist, it will defile the fighting heritage of the Palestinian people, and this will constitute a great service to the Israeli side. We are better off without an authority, and the Palestinian people will remain in a state of national liberation."

Moderator: "It would be anarchy without all the institutions that were established over 24 years."

[...]

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "When President Arafat presented the Oslo Accords, it was a national enterprise. He was hoping or trying to get something from the Israeli side. He was starting an Intifada here, financing an attack there... This is how the man operated. But the only thing left now is the protection of the Israeli occupation."

Moderator: "This was the conviction of Mahmoud Abbas ever since he took power. He said: 'I will not engage in fighting the enemy with weapons. My plan is based on peaceful resistance.'"

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "Just to do Abbas justice, let me say that I supported this plan. You always supported it on our show."

Moderator: "You always supported it on our show."

Jihad Al-Rantisi: "Right. I always defended this plan, but this plan failed."

[...]

Moderator: "Muhammad, I beg you to keep the discussion calm..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "When it comes to the blessed Palestine, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, I have no red lines, yellow lines, blue lines, pink lines, or fuchsia lines... I have no lines of any color, and I don't care what anyone says.

[...]

"Let me remind you, Palestine is ours. It will remain ours. We will not give up even a tiny particle of its sand. It is not these people who will liberate Palestine, which is a blessed land. It is the property of 1.5 billion Muslims."

Moderator: "Okay..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "One of these days, the mujahideen will march on it."

Moderator: "Okay. Dear viewers..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "Allah has promised..."

Moderator: "Dear viewers..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "They will enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque, like they entered it the first time..."

Moderator: "Man..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "This is what Allah has promised us."

Moderator: "Brother..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "The Palestinian Authority and all these organizations will go into the garbage bin of history."

Moderator: "Dear viewers..."

Muhammad Al-Tamimi: "The Palestinian people..."

Moderator: "At the end of the show, I thank whoever lasted with us till the end. Goodbye."
