Sunni Iraqi Cleric Al-Kubeisi: ISIS is a Marionette in the Hands of Netanyahu; Al-Baghdadi Stupid, Cannot Be Held Accountable

In a recent TV interview, Sunni Iraqi cleric Sheikh Ahmad Al-Kubeisi said that ISIS was an asset in the hands of Netanyahu, who "holds the remote control" and "gives orders to all the rulers of America, Europe, and elsewhere" and that the Jews are the masters of the land today. Al-Kubeisi further said that his fatwa ruling that people killed fighting ISIS were martyrs did not apply to the mostly-Shiite militia Popular Mobilization Units, because they "are killing Muslims just because they are Sunnis." Asked about Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, he said that he was "so stupid that when he was detained in Camp Bucca... they used him as a scarecrow and then chucked him into the garbage." The interview aired on the Iraqi Sumaria TV channel on June 11, 2016.

Interviewer: "Battles are being fought these days to liberate the lands plundered by ISIS. A year or two ago, I interviewed you for this very show. You said that you believed that ISIS was a big marionette puppeteered by intelligence agencies. But it turns out that this marionette - if that's what it is - has lasted a long time, and the Iraqis are paying the price for the existence of ISIS. Do you still believe that it is a marionette?"

Al-Kubeisi: "In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. There are people who hold the remote control, and (ISIS) is one of their assets. As you know, the world in which we live has a master, or several masters, who count every breath you take and mold you as they see fit. ISIS is one of the assets held by the owner of the remote control."

Interviewer: "Who is that?"

Al-Kubeisi: "You know who it is."

Interviewer: "No, I don't."

Al-Kubeisi: "The owner of the remote control lives in Jerusalem. His name is Netanyahu. Netanyahu gives orders to all the rulers of America, Europe, and elsewhere."

Interviewer: "But the people in ISIS say there is no God but Allah..."

Al-Kubeisi: "So what? They don't know anything about Islam. None of them are even circumcised. This game has become very clear. I am surprised at the people from the superpowers. This is a farce, yet they believe that all the people of the world are idiots."

[...]

Interviewer: "Who are the masters of the land today?"

Al-Kubeisi: "The Jews. This is beyond dispute. When Netanyahu speaks everybody else goes silent."

Interviewer: "Don't you think that Jews serve as a pretext for the failures of the Muslims?"

Al-Kubeisi: "Perhaps, perhaps. We are used to having low self-esteem, because someone who fails time and again becomes frustrated, and does not value himself anymore."

[...]

Interviewer: "You rules that someone who fights ISIS is a martyr..."

Al-Kubeisi: "If he is killed, of course."

Interviewer: "Today, there are men in the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) who fight ISIS. Does your fatwa apply to them?"

Al-Kubeisi: "If Israel fought ISIS, my fatwa would not apply to it either. I am talking about Muslims - Muslims who acknowledge the Quran and the Sunna"

Interviewer: "The PMU are Muslims..."

Al-Kubeisi: "The PMU are killing Muslims just because they are Sunnis. I saw this with my own eyes. They kill them in the most terrible way."

Interviewer: "All of them?"

Al-Kubeisi: "I didn't say all of them. Those of them who kill are not Muslims, and their martyrdom under such circumstances is worthless."

[...]

Interviewer: "What if Qassem Soleimani were martyred, or killed, fighting ISIS?"

Al-Kubeisi: "There is no doubt that if Soleimani is killed, he will go to Hell. It's not me saying this. I don't own Hell. There is a hadith that says if someone kills a Muslim..."

Interviewer: "ISIS are Muslims?"

Al-Kubeisi: "No, no. He doesn't kill ISIS."

Interviewer: "If Soleimani and Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi are fighting, and Soleimani wins..."

Al-Kubeisi: "Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi is so stupid that when he was detained in Camp Bucca, and they saw what an idiot he was, they used him as a... what do you call those statues you put in the garden to frighten the birds?"

Interviewer: "A scarecrow?"

Al-Kubeisi: "A scarecrow, that's it! They used him as a scarecrow and then chucked him into the garbage. Sir, when someone is in his right mind, he can be held accountable, but when someone is brainless, he cannot be held accountable."
