Shiite Lebanese Scholar Muhammad Ali Al-Husseini to Arab Sunni Leaders: Iran Is Our Shared Enemy

In a clip posted on the internet on March 21, 2015, Shiite Lebanese scholar Muhammad Ali Al-Husseini said that various Arab capitals were "occupied" by the Iranian regime and that "the honorable resistance should unite, because Iraq is occupied by the Iranian regime today."

Following are excerpts:

Muhammad Ali Al-Husseini: Today, I am sad to say, we see that Beirut has been occupied, that Damascus has been occupied, that Sanaa has been occupied, and that Baghdad, unfortunately, has been occupied too. Today, we see [Qassem] Al-Soleimani coming to drink coffee in Iraq, saying: "I am back."

Islam is the religion of us all. We share the same God, the same Quran, and the same Prophet. We also share the same enemy, which is infiltrating the Arab nation today. Look what is going on in our countries, in our capital cities. How come there is stability in Tehran? How come Tehran is safe? How come all the catastrophes befall us Arabs? In Syria, the collaborators of Qassem Soleimani, headed by Hassan Nasra-llat [i.e., polytheist Nasrallah], storm [the homes] of families in Syria to kill, rape, and plunder, bearing the (Shiite) banner of Hussein. Indeed, Hussein has nothing to do with them. He [Soleimani] invades Yemen to occupy this Arab land, and to declare, from there, that he wants to occupy the Land of the Two Holy Mosques as well. He also invades Iraq. The Iraqi army used to fend off the Safavids.

Today, words are futile. We need actions. What we need to do is to unite. The honorable resistance should unite, because Iraq is occupied by the Iranian regime today. It is occupied not by the Shiites, but by the Iranian regime. Oh Shiites of Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, the Iranian regime is using you as a bridge to cross into the [Arab] nation.

It is the Iranian intelligence that controls the office of [Ayatollah] Al-Sistani. He does not see or know about any of the statements they publish. Thus, all the biased fatwas issued in his name serve the Iranian regime.
