General (ret.) Helmi Al-Hayatami, the Governor of Suez, recently said that Egypt's geographical location is optimal and would protect it from Israeli missiles. "[Egypt] is protected by its location and by the northwesterly winds," he said on January 6. "If the Jews launch any [missiles] at us, the wind will send them right back at them."
Helmi Al-Hayatami: "Egypt has the best location in the world. Show me a country that is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Show me such a country. It's only us! This is the best place on Earth, and we took hold of it. You probably know that the polar ice caps are melting... The Earth is getting warmer, and the ice is melting. All the countries with an ocean shore, especially the European ones, are worried that they will be flooded.

"The Mediterranean Sea is going easy on us. When the ocean, however, is stormy and the water level rises, it poses a threat to them. The winds in Egypt are northwesterly. When people say that Egypt is protected, they should know what protects it. It is protected by its location and by the northwesterly winds. If the Jews launch any (missiles) at us, the wind will send them right back at them."
