Egyptian TV Host Ecstatic over Execution of Saudi Shiite Cleric Al-Nimr: Bravo! We Want Muslim Brotherhood Leaders Executed Too

Egyptian TV host Ahmed Moussa commended Saudi Arabia for its execution of Shiite cleric Nimr Al-Nimr. "Bravo!" exclaimed Moussa in his January 2 show. "Keep it up." Moussa further said that his new year's wish was for all Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leaders, including "the spy Morsi," to be executed the same way, in accordance with the shari'a, disregarding international pressure.

Following are excerpts:

Ahmed Moussa: If you asked me what my wish is for 2016, I would say that I'd like to wake up and see that, just like Saudi Arabia, 70 people were executed, headed by [Muslim Brotherhood leaders] Muhammad Badi', Khayrat Al-Shater, Al-Beltagi, Safwat Higazi, Issam Al-'Aryan, and all the leaders of terrorism. I wanted to see them executed, along with that traitor spy, Morsi. It is according to the law of Allah… Isn't Saudi Arabia implementing the law of Allah? Saudi Arabia is the first country to implement the law of Allah. If we want to be honest – yes, it is implementing the law of Allah.

What did it do? It executed 47 people in one go. It did not execute one, then five, then four… It's not that it issued collective sentences and had to deal with retrials, international condemnations, and then more retrials, and eventually 75% would be acquitted, two sentenced to death and the rest sent home… Today, Saudi Arabia carried out a collective execution, in accordance with the law and the shari'a. That way, no one can open his mouth. And those who do open it – what can they do? That's that. We've already carried out the verdicts, thank you very much…

The [Saudi] said: Everybody, keep your mouths shut! We have our laws and procedures, and we will not allow any country not even the Arab ones, to interfere in our domestic matters or in our judiciary. Bravo! Let me reiterate: Bravo! Keep it up!
