In a February 16 address on the Egyptian Sada Al-Balad TV channel, TV host Ahmed Moussa said that the U.S., Turkey, and Qatar constituted the axis of evil, because they were countries that supported terrorism.

Ahmed Moussa: We must say loud and clear that Qatar, Turkey, and America constitute the axis of evil. You see before you the people who lead the axis of evil – Qatar, Turkey, and the U.S. These are the countries that support terrorism – the U.S., Turkey, and Qatar. You should all know this. I have always been saying this, but today it has been proven beyond any doubt that the US is involved in the killing of Egyptians. Allow me to reiterate: The U.S. is involved in the killing of Egyptians. The CIA plays a major role is what is going on in Libya.

We have a peace treaty with Israel, but we shall never strike a peace deal with these people. Let me say, there and now: They will pay a price. By Allah, Qatar will pay the price – if not today, then tomorrow. It will pay the heaviest price. Egypt is not weak. Egypt has been patient. Our president has been very patient. He has been verrrrrry patient with you, but the Egyptians people will not be as patient. Our country has suffered a lot, and the people is urging the government and the army to wreak vengeance upon them all. As I said yesterday, we must teach Qatar – that Zionist Qatari entity – a lesson it will never forget.
