Calls to Kill President Al-Sisi and Egyptian Journalists on Muslim Brotherhood TV Channels

#4752 | 02:06
Source: Rabea TV (Egypt)Misr Alan TV (Egypt)

In this compilation of video clips from Muslim Brotherhood TV channels, various Egyptian clerics and commentators call to kill Egyptian President Abd Al-Fattah Al-Sisi and the journalists who support him. Cleric Salama Abd Al-Qawi said, on Rabea TV, that anyone who killed Al-Sisi would be doing a good deed, cleric Wagdi Ghoneim told Misr Alan TV that "whoever can bring us the head of one of these dogs and Hell-dwellers" would be rewarded by Allah, and commentator Muhammad Awadh sai, on Misr Alan TV, that the punishment for the "inciting coup journalists" was death. The programs aired on January 10 and 26, 2015.

Following are excerpts:

Rabea TV, January 10, 2015

TV host: Is it possible that someone will be influenced by what you say, and will simply kill Al-Sisi and rid us of all this?

Egyptian cleric Salama Abd Al-Qawi: Doing this would be a good deed that would bring [the killer] closer to Allah.

Applause in TV studio

TV host: So are you issuing a fatwa...?

Salama Abd Al-Qawi: Anyone who can do this to Al-Sisi will be doing a good deed, and if he gets killed in the process, he will become a martyr.

TV host: You mean Al-Sisi?

Salama Abd Al-Qawi: No, the killer will become a martyr. The same goes for all the criminal leaders. This is a good deed, and anyone who can do this will become closer to Allah.

TV host: Who says this? You or the religion of Islam?

Salama Abd Al-Qawi: Islam does. Who am I? I'm nobody.

Misr Alan TV, January 26, 2015

TV host: Is it fair to say that [Egyptian TV host] Ahmad Musa and other journalists are the like the [poets who affronted the Prophet Muhammad in early Islam]?

Egyptian cleric Wagdi Ghoneim: They are even worse. I say this live on TV: By Allah, whoever can bring us the head of one of these dogs and Hell-dwellers will be rewarded by Allah.

TV host: I am only asking...

Wagdi Ghoneim: We can say this loud and clear... These people spread falsehoods and fabricate lies. They are like worn-out shoes on the feet of ScumSisi.

Misr Alan TV, January 26, 2015

Egyptian commentator Muhammad Awadh: These journalists are the mouthpieces of this violent regime. They are complicit in all these crimes with their incitement. The crime of the accomplice is equal to the crime of the perpetrator.

Since Article 87 of the penal code stipulates that Al-Sisi and his gang of coup leaders should be punished by death, then the punishment for those inciting coup journalists is also death.
